Privacy policy

Novation Ghost Inc. ("we", "us") is based in Nova Scotia, Canada. This policy explains what personal information we collect through novationghost.com, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
What we collect
- Contact form. Your name, email address, and the message you write. We use this only to reply to you and discuss your project.
- Founders Core members. For our private member area, we keep each member's name and email address, plus a scrambled (hashed) version of their access code, which is based on their phone number. We don't store the phone number itself. This is used only to let members sign in.
- Sign-in cookie. When a Founders Core member signs in, we set one cookie to keep them signed in for up to 12 hours. The rest of the site doesn't use cookies.
We don't use advertising trackers or analytics, and we don't sell or rent personal information to anyone.
Services that handle your information
We use a few outside services to run the site. They may store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States, where it can be subject to local laws.
- Vercel hosts the website and runs the contact form and sign-in.
- Resend delivers contact form messages to our inbox.
- Google Workspace hosts our email, where contact form messages are kept.
- Google Fonts supplies the site's fonts. Your browser requests them from Google, which receives your IP address.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry emails for as long as we need them to respond and for our business records. Founders Core details are kept while someone is a member and removed when they leave. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. Email admin@novationghost.com and we'll respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
